Make it Yourself: All Purpose Antiseptic Cleaning Spray

Here it is friends you asked for it and let’s just say that here at Marché Bleuet: we deliver!

And by deliver I mean by way of an all purpose, antiseptic, sensational, scented, spray. Get those counters shining, those mirrors and windows reflecting, and that toilet singing. Cleaning house is about to get glorious folks. And yes I’ve heard it said that you can just use vinegar and newspaper. But friends you can hear me say that vinegar, well it’s not glorious, it doesn’t sing and scientifically it is just plain boring. So what do we do to counteract the effects of boring?

Lemon Infused Vinegar

Soak the peels of 6 lemons in 1 litre of white vinegar for two weeks. Strain the lemon skins and there you have it, lemon vinegar. Amazing!

Next Up:

You will need to collect your ingredients:

• 1 beautiful spray bottle 500ml
• 1/2 cup of your amazing lemon vinegar
• 1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
• 1 tsp corn starch
• 10 drops lemon essential oil
• 10 drops lime essential oil

Now What?

1. Add the Alcohol and vinegar to your beautiful bottle.
2. Add the cornstarch and essential oils.
3. SWiRL IT!
4. Now fill it with filtered water.

And now you have your own personal cleaning spray. Be proud, be clean, be lemon scented. . Isn’t it just wonderful. It smells like lemons and limes and it cleans like a charm. You can also omit the cornstarch if need be, sometimes it clogs the spray nozzle. However, the cornstarch works well on windows and mirrors so if you like it in there then keep the recipe as is.
